Collegiate Sexual Assault Insurance Program

If a student suffers a sexual assault during the period of the program, the program will provide them with access to our approved Sexual Assault Assistance Services.

For the purpose of the program:

Sexual Assault means any type of sexual contact or behavior that occurs without the explicit consent of the recipient.  Falling under the definition of sexual assault are sexual activities such as forced sexual intercourse, forcible sodomy, child molestation, incest, fondling, and attempted rape.

Student means an individual who is enrolled for credit with the insured accredited higher education institution and who has been declared to us.

 

Sexual Assault Assistance Services 

Services Provided:    

  • 24/7 call center access
  • Dedicated phone line per institution
  • Immediate initial phone assessment
  • Referral and appointment coordination
  • Quality follow-up checks for each call
  • Coordination of continued care

 

Counselor Session options:    

  • In-person: on-campus session
  • Maximum 8 In-person sessions per student per program period
  • Video Session
  • Telephonic Session

Included in all services:    

  • Customized protocols/script
  • Customized utilization reporting by University available on a scheduled, and ad-hoc, basis
  • Interpreter available
